"The
OVER'N'OUT® was brought
to the Florida State Fire College for testing.
.
. . AMOUNTS OF GREASE: 2 heaping tablespoons to 1 1/4 cups
TIME TO EXTINGUISH: Instant - less than 1 second
These tests
were conducted on a gas kitchen stove with the burner on high until the
grease self-ignited. . . These tests mirrored those on the electric stove
with the same results. The OVER
'N' OUT® was very efficient
in placing the powder where it was needed. At least 25% of the powder
was deposited directly into the pan. These large amounts of [powder]
in the pan caused saponification thus eliminating flash back. The
clean-up area was confined to the size of the
OVER'N'OUT®."

". . . just wanted to say 'Thank you' and
'Thank you'! Joseph** brought home to me one of your
OVER'N'OUT® treasures.
It's most attractive. . . .About two weeks later, I was canning (for the
church bazaar). The smoke alarm went off . . .(very sensitive and
irritating). I said, 'Shut up, dummy' and kept working and it kept
screaming. In disgust, I turned around and gads! I had been heating
paraffin and it had cooked over and caught fire - We're talking big flames
- about five feet. I ran for my OVER'N'OUT®
, threw it over - held my
breath with a fast beating heart - and it put it out. The heat was
so intense it had melted the cover on the florescent fixture in the ceiling
and blackened the walls and ceiling in the area. . . Joseph brought me
another the next day. The understatement is: 'It makes me feel better
to know it's there and yes I apologized to the screeching smoke alarm."

". . . I used my
OVER'N'OUT® when
I had a kitchen fire. . .it was because it was so handy & I didn't
have to figure out how to use it. . . just place it over the fire &
wait. My daughter had left the pot on the stove to get hot &
walked out of the room . . . when she returned there was a blaze in the
skillet. . . . I put the lid on first & turned off the gas. I
waited a few minutes hoping it had cooled enough but it hadn't & when
I removed the lid it blazed again . . . this time the lid was on fire.
I dropped the lid on the floor then needed something to put over the pot
& just grabbed the OVER'N'OUT®
. . . The stove was
very easy to clean . . . pot was a little harder but it also came clean."

". . . to thank you
for sending me a new OVER'N'OUT®
to replace the one I used to put out
a fire in my kitchen. . . product is an excellent extinguishing device
for stove fires. In my experience with this type of situation, the
OVER 'N' OUT® was one of great
value. . .cooking breakfast and a paper plate full of bacon caught on fire.
. .flames over a foot high my first thought was that beautiful picture
hanging on the wall, even though I had a fire extinguisher in the kitchen.
The OVER'N'OUT®
was
easy to use . . .clean up was easy too! The eggs . . .were not disturbed
and tasted great. Enclosed is a check. . . I think this would make
a great Christmas gift. Thanks again."
